This is the Baggy Winecoat from the Scandinavian Design Center. Perfect for the busy drinker, handy for the long journey to work, or while waiting in the queue at the Winebank. If they added a side pocket for your laptop it would be perfect.
SDC say: “Baggy Winecoat gives the popular Bag in Box wines a casual but stylish look! Simply take the wine bag out of the box, place it in the Baggy Wine Coat and close the flexible top. We have some new pieces from the Gourmet spring/summer line in store. The Cinque N model featured above is an update on the popular Cinque model from last season. This time around it is decked out with a calf-tanned nubuck upper! There is also some very detailed contrast stitching around the lizard printed leather rand, side panels and heel. The inside is taken care of with a pig skin leather insole and memory foam.
The Quattro C (below) in steel and white is another rework of a familiar shoe. For spring/summer they have dropped the fine napa leather and constructed the upper, liner and insole out of cotton canvas. This makes for a very lightweight shoe, which is perfect for this long overdue spring weather. The steel colour is a perfect choice for this style of canvas shoe and the contrast stitching and laces set things off nicely. Gourmet

Nik picked this one up in Oslo the other day. I have seen these in Japan on the web before but never in the real world here in Oslo. Interesting how it ended up here?
They are usually produced for special promotions or gifts by placing a sticker on the fruit whilst it is still on the tree. The sticker blocks out the natural pigmentation process from the sunlight and your left with a tattooed apple. Great promotional item.

Now where do I buy some Hagoromo?

Cupofill will be showing their latest work entitled ‘All Bottled Up’ in Oslo tomorrow night. The exhibition will provide commentary on mass produced designer toys and their customization. This will be achieved using the traditional brown, 33 centiliter standard Norwegian glass beer-bottle as a canvas. Given the fact that the advertising of alcohol is illegal in Norway, they put forward the notion that the vessel is product which is cold, mass produced and lifeless. And raise interesting design topics such as where do the boundaries between art and marketing lie.

Here are a couple of pictures of the new Polaroid cameras being released later this year. And going by the amount of requests we have had over the last year they should prove to be very popular.

“The PIC 1000 will be available in a range of fun colors and use classic Polaroid Color 600 Instant Film to produce the brand’s classic white border instant pictures. The Polaroid Color 600 Instant Film will work with both classic and new Polaroid cameras and will be offered in packs of 10 pictures. The new classic PIC 1000 camera and instant color film will be available at national retailers in 2010.”
