Being flown in for an exclusive one off show the ‘remix kings’ are no strangers to Norway after destroying the Hove festival in the summer. They are heralded as top line remixers but it is in the clubs where they really shine. Taking a similar route into dance music as contemporary A-Trak they both started out as turntablists and between them they own 7 World and UK DMC DJ titles. This was achieved with Plus One being part of the world famous Scratch Perverts and Beni G with the Mixologists. Today Plus One still works with The Scratch Perverts and Beni G is member of ‘man of the moment’ Plan B’s band.
Their productions as Jack Beats have led them to work with and remix a whole host of artists such as Fake Blood, TC, La Roux, Diplo, Kissy Sell Out, Lady Sovereign, AC Slater, Boy 8 Bit and Does It Offend You, Yeah?
It is a rare thing when top line producers/remixers can roll it out in the clubs. But with world DJ titles under their belts and being schooled in all forms of dance music since inception they really do deliver the finest contemporary bass music known to man.

Vive Le Tour!

A visual history of counterculture music T-shirts, spanning the defining era of indie music. Ripped is the first book to document the shirts of the post-punk and indie period, after the submission of 1960s rock ‘n’ roll to mass popularity and before the onset of ironic consumerism. The first monograph on the iconic independent New York street fashion label Supreme.

Beep Mug by Colin O Dowd
Everyday we come into contact with bar codes. They’re everywhere. But despite all their practical benefits bar codes are rarely appreciated for their aesthetic value and are often overlooked by a designer when designing his or her product and packaging. They are an afterthought. Beep mug aims to change that. By stretching the bar code and wrapping it around the mug the bar code becomes the mugs decoration and packaging. It has a visual and a functional purpose. It ends the need for additional labelling – making for a beautiful mug that is not burdened with non-essentials, allowing the customer to scan n’ go.

The Hoverboard is a project made by Nils Guadagnin, a young French artist. This work is born in 2008 for an exhibition named “Back To the future”. It is a copy of the hoverboard from the movie Back to the Future II. Integrated into the board and the plinth is an electromagnetic system which levitates the board. A laser system stabilizes the object in the air. In the making of this work, this artist was thinking about different ways of presenting sculpture.
