New season styles from Clae have just landed. A standout model from this range has to be the Ellington. Which is available in walnut suede brick with red sole and a dope leather/suede black option. As they say over at Clae “the Ellington delivers sophistication without pretension”. Another big winner from this line is the classic Khan model(featured above). This time around in a grizzly nubuck finish. A very rugged yet refined shoe that does not compromise on comfort with a custom footbed and leather-lined interior. The nubuck exterior and leather laces have to be one of the best combinations in footwear design and this model ticks all the boxes. Also the good people over at Clae have been thinking about us cold soles over here on the ‘island’ of Norway and have come up with a new winter model called the Jones. The new shoe has been designed to fit the rigors of a cold winter but with distinct sophistication that won’t go unnoticed. Subtle styling including a minimal embossed logo on a classic outline make this shoe a sure fire winner for the colder months ahead.

Being flown in for an exclusive one off show the ‘remix kings’ are no strangers to Norway after destroying the Hove festival in the summer. They are heralded as top line remixers but it is in the clubs where they really shine. Taking a similar route into dance music as contemporary A-Trak they both started out as turntablists and between them they own 7 World and UK DMC DJ titles. This was achieved with Plus One being part of the world famous Scratch Perverts and Beni G with the Mixologists. Today Plus One still works with The Scratch Perverts and Beni G is member of ‘man of the moment’ Plan B’s band.
Their productions as Jack Beats have led them to work with and remix a whole host of artists such as Fake Blood, TC, La Roux, Diplo, Kissy Sell Out, Lady Sovereign, AC Slater, Boy 8 Bit and Does It Offend You, Yeah?
It is a rare thing when top line producers/remixers can roll it out in the clubs. But with world DJ titles under their belts and being schooled in all forms of dance music since inception they really do deliver the finest contemporary bass music known to man.
Premium support comes from the local low-end bass theorists ‘Kids Love Bass’.

‘Hunter Jacket’ by Indian born, London based industrial design graduate Rohan Chhabra is an outer apparel design that transforms into a wall mount of a ram’s head. In doing this,

“Inspired by the movie ‘back to the future II’, Blake Bevin experimented with creating a pair of self-lacing shoes. while his solution isn’t the most stylish option the mechanism he installed on the shoes does in fact work. the project is chronicled in an instructables page and utilizes an arduino microcontroller. The user steps into the shoes and activates force sensors on the shoe beds. this in turn triggers two servo motors which apply tension to the laces and tighten the show around the user’s feet. Perhaps one day we may see something similar to this on a shoe, but until then Bevin’s solution will have do.” Just lazy to me! Source
