Bit slow on this one I know. But I only just got the picture.
Øya Festival this year was all good. Re the music. All I can say in Vive la France.
The Festival was less of a fashion parade this time around but you got to give this guy his props. He nailed it. You are either into ‘animal park gift shop fashion’ or your not.
I can tell you for a fact that we are loving it.

We just got one of the Mark Gonzales Megga America Communion Priest Art piece’s in the store. We ordered more(6months ago) but only one arrived.

This was a series of priest figures created to mark the opening of his exhibition at the dpmhi gallery in London.

The battery powered priest has a mechanical arm which blows bubbles and come supplied with customised bubble solution. Each one is hand engraved with his signature and edition number.

Some of the editions bubble blowing mechanisms do not work correctly due to the engraving process but that makes it even more collectable in our opinion.

Mark Gonzales original canvases now sell for $10000+ and he has been doing many collaborations of late. We also have some of his artist series Ts in store right now.

Pete Fowler returns to the ever-popular Monsterism Island, this time with a study of the Island’s Pets and their Owners. It’s amazing how, even on Monsterism Island, owners and their pets seem to look alike.
Each figure set is packaged with both pet and owner, in special cylindrical pet food cans.

Urban Arts Research and Marketing (Uarm) have been holding things down for 5 years releasing T shirt designs from the worlds most important contemporary artists.
Kinda like a ‘thinking mans’ Streetwear label with artists such as Mark Gonzales, Faile, Bast and Neck Face to name a few.
