We did some artwork for a Stones Throw night at Blå. Great label and venue. Gonna be a cracker.

Back in May last year we were with some friends who told us about a new facebook group they’d set up called Sleeve Face. The idea being that you recreate your favorite sleeve by taking a picture of yourself holding a sleeve in front of you so you merge with the image. Since then Sleeve Face has become a bit of a phenomenon, the book is currently in production, discussed on a BBC 1 current affairs show and yesterday a double page spread in The Guardian… that’s MJ behind the Morrissey sleeve by the way…

LaMJC’s annual compendium of streetwear has been released! For the second year now, Colette and LaMJC have combined to produce a photographic summary of the year that was in Streetwear, Product and Sneaker’s. It features “99% is Shit” from HL’s Mark James, the 7 inch vinyl figure, released in July ’07, and has completely sold out. The book is available from We Sold Out. With interviews from the likes of Murakami, Bobbito Garcia, TK, Kaws, Edison Chen, Staple, Kanye West and Pharrel Williams and alongside all the great photography is art from James Jarvis, Claw Money, KR, Reas, So Me, Genevieve Gauckler and Kaws.
