Hunting Lodge are pleased to announce the launch of our in-store art program.
"In the Forest deep" an exhibition featuring the the artwork of  Cecilie Ellefsen will run from September 20th - October 18th. The opening reception will be Saturday September 20th at 12.00 Midday. At the same time we will be introducing a new space at Hunting Lodge titled 'Hide'.
Cecilie Ellefsen (b.1977) is one of Norway's finest illustrators and an accomplished artist in her own right. Working out of the highly respected Commando Group in Oslo Norway she has been working as a designer since 1997, and illustrator since 2002.
She has previously exhibited her work in Singapore, San Francisco and Berlin, and this will be her first solo exhibition in Norway.
Growing up in a rural part of Norway, nature and animals have always inspired her. "In the Forest deep" is the feeling of finding that secret childhood forest with enchanted critters, hollow trees, traps, treasures and hideaways.
As you can see from the layered paper cut poster(above) it is going to be a superb exhibition so please come along and check it out for yourself.
