Arthur C Clarke sadly passed away yesterday at the age of 90! He was a hugely influential figure, his screenplay for 2001: A Space Odyssey is work of pure genius. You can see his influence recurring throughout art and design today. His "Mysterious World" TV series in the 80's was scary stuff for us as kids, but compulsive viewing. A sad loss!
