A floating cloud that can be shaped into any logo or simple shape. Invented by Francisco Guerra the Flogo is made up of soap-based foams and lighter-than-air gases.
His company uses computer software to make stencils of the logos and produces the cloud with converted artificial snow machines.
The machines can be hired out at $2.5K per day and the clouds can last from a few minutes to an hour. The obvious question is what about a airplanes?
Francisco states that the floating ads are not a danger to airplanes, because flying through one is "like going through a cloud." Nothing from the Flogo sticks to the surface of a plane, even if it goes through the aircraft's jet engine,
I'm thinking the pilot will probably swerve though if there's a giant Hooters logo floating towards him.
