Lets be honest 2017 was a weird one. I felt like we lived through our own real life version of ‘Empire’, but as we all know ‘The Return of the Jedi’ follows, so the ‘balance’ should be realigned, and ‘The Rise of the Idiots’ quashed.
We have been busy in 2017 introducing Adsum, Carhartt WIP, Paradis3, A Kind of Guise, Karhu, F/CE and Malibu Sandals to the store. Also Polar Skate Co. and Maharishi made a welcome return. We put out the Hunting Lodge 'Education in Reverse' and 'City Scout' capsule collections and worked with our existing brands on some very interesting projects. We have also been very active in the background building a dynamite team to create a slicker online experience and more visually rich output.
There are some big plans for 2018. I am very pleased to announce that we will be introducing SIX new brands to HL in the first part of the year. Keeping these under wraps for the minute, but they include a life long love affair, plus my latest obsession. Stoke levels are high.
